The main result of the paper (Theorem~30) says that the category of $L$-fuzzy co-topological spaces is isomorphic to a full bicoreflective subcategory of the category of $L$-fuzzy quasi-proximity spaces in the sense of {\it Y.~Yue} and {\it F.-G.~Shi} [Fuzzy Sets Syst. 158, No.~4, 386--398 (2007; Zbl 1116.54005)]. The authors also establish a one-to-one correspondence between equivalence relations and S-proximities (in the sense of {\it E.~F.~Steiner} [Math. Ann. 155, 194--195 (1964; Zbl 0117.39801)]) on a given set, as well as mention a relationship between the latter and rough sets of Z.~Pawlak, the precise nature of which, however, is left unclarified. The paper is not sufficiently well written, containing a lot of typos (e.g., in the very first line of Section~1, ``1936" should be ``1951" and ``Efremovi" should be ``Efremovi\v{c}"), not always correct definitions (especially w.r.t. category theory) and several notions, which are not used in the subsequent developments (e.g., the stuff on quasi-uniformities).
