<ab>Summary: Using a predictor-corrector method variant for semidefinite programming with the HKM direction, we present a study that aims to obtain suitable initial solutions and methods to compute the step-lengths to be used in the resolution of some classes of semidefinite programming problems. We present not only the computational experience done using some classes of the SDPLIB l .2 test problems, but also suitable initial solutions and step-lengths for each one of the studied classes.</ab>
