Summary: For isolating the roots and giving all the intervals for all the roots of integer polynomials, each interval containing exactly one polynomial root, we can use only preisolating techniques and the continuous function property. For evaluating the cost of that procedure, we use the previous number of splittings for the preisolating, and the cost for evaluating the polynomials. Then, we can compare that cost with Sturm's technique cost.
