ab: Summary: The goal of this paper is to show how fuzzy logic can be
    successfully implemented in a certain type of analog-to-digital
    converter. The fuzzy transformation is shown to be a technique to
    approximately representation continuous functions to be applied in the
    modeling of one particular type of analog-to-digital converter. Besides
    the mathematical apparatus, we will introduce the principles of delta
    modulation, adaptive delta modulations and some examples of adaptive
    delta modulation as well.
