The fuzzy transformation is shown to be a technique to approximately representation continuous functions to be applied in the modeling of one particular type of analog-to-digital converter. Besides the mathematical apparatus, we will introduce the principles of delta modulation, adaptive delta modulations and some examples of adaptive delta modulation as well. rv:
