One of the most important aspects of the user experience design is providing positive and enjoyable experience to the users. While both tangible and intangible approaches are important, only a few practical studies have focused on the intangible aspects such as emotion and human needs. This paper describes the importance of the fulfillment of the user’s needs for differentiated enjoyment of user experience design, and suggests a practical design method. The authors propose an experience design process and method, which helps to generate innovative design concepts based on the user’s psychological needs. rv:
