ab: Summary: The recognition rate of the least squares support vector machine
    sparse algorithm rapidly decreases with the reduction of training
    samples when dealing with some pattern recognition issues. To overcome
    such a shortage, a new sparse algorithm is proposed. The method is
    applied to radar range profile’s recognition. Experimental results
    show its validity.
