<ab>Summary: We show that quantum entanglement is helpful in improving the security of arbitrated quantum signature (AQS). Using the properties of quantum entanglement, a potential forgery which might occur in arbitrated quantum signature schemes without using them can be avoided. The fact is illustrated by relevant schemes.</ab>
