<ab>Summary: Cellular neural networks with distributed delays are considered. Without assuming global Lipschitz conditions of neuron signal functions, sufficient conditions for the existence, uniqueness and exponential stability of the almost periodic solutions are established by using a fixed point theorem and differential inequality techniques. The authors extend and improve previously known results. Moreover, an example is also worked out to illustrate the advantages of the results.</ab>
