The evaluation of the sustainable development capability of university and college is a typical multi-criteria decision-making problem. The author uses the TOPSIS method to carry out a comprehensive evaluation of and find a sort order for the sustainable development capability of university and college. The conclusion shows that the method is scientific and reasonable. Meanwhile, it puts forward countermeasures and suggestions on how to realize a sustainable development of university and college.
