Summary: An improved robust watermarking scheme based on wavelet coefficient dynamical quantization is proposed. It dynamically embeds watermarking by modifying the coefficients of the high-frequency sub-band LH3. Chaos is used to optimize the usable blocks for the embedding of watermarking, and the Chinese remainder theorem (CRT) is used to produce quantization parameters, guaranteeing the security of the scheme. Compared with the watermarking method proposed by {\it W.-H. Lin} et al. [``An efficient watermarking method based on significant difference of wavelet coefficient quantization", IEEE Trans. Multimedia 10, No. 5, 746--756 (2008; \url{doi:10.1109/TMM.2008.922795})], the proposed scheme has the advantages of concealment, security and imperceptibility in the meantime, it has strong robustness against image compression. Experimental results show the effectiveness of the scheme.
