Summary: [For the entire collection see Zbl 0683.00014.] A method for calculating diverging detonation problems is presented. This method uses the results of calculations based on a theory for modeling diverging detonations in a random choice method hydrodynamics code. We employ the procedure described herein to model a spherically symmetric explosion of Comp-B and compare to experimental results. The effects of variations in reaction rate parameters is also explored.
