Numerantium 184, 145-159 (2007).} \itemab Summary: We present a series of modern industrial applications graph theory. We also propose new projects derived from current research. Examples include: an application of minimum weight perfect matchings to the reconstruction of 3-D surfaces (Microsoft Research); an analysis of connectivity in telecommunication networks using Menger's Theorem (Level 3 Communications); using the Max-Flow / Min-Cut Theorem to identify WWW cybercommunities (Google), and the use of cluster graphs for the detection of illegal weapons and drugs in shipping. We also give an overview of the STEM Real World Applications Modules Project (NSF-DUE \#0536364). The goal of this project is to enhance student learning by motivating mathematical concepts with cutting-edge, real-world applications. \itemrv{~} \itemcc{} \itemut{} \itemli{} \end
