In this paper some of the earlier results obtained by the use of rather diverse approaches on the solvability of linear, lumped, time-invariant networks containing multi-terminal components are reviewed based on a unified approach. By this way an alternate proof fort he conjecture posed by Kuh et al. and solved later by Mili\c{c} is presented. The case where such active components as dependent drivers exist in the network is also touched upon.}, identifier = {04053519}, }
