    abstract     = {[For the entire collection see Zbl 0722.00035.] In a first paper, abstract weakly nonlinear variational inequalities of a certain type are considered. An existence result is presented together with an a priori estimate for the solution. Furtherly, a mixed variational formulation of the problem is given and a discrete version of it. In a second part, especially for obstacle problems, special penalty methods and optimal parameter selection rules are discussed.},
