The idea is first to defuzzify all the fuzzy output data into crisp values via COA. The $C_{pk}$ can then be easily calculated and obtained as in a crisp environment. The suggested method avoids complex arithmetic operations and the ranking procedure of fuzzy numbers. The applied COA formula produces two equal areas under the membership function of triangular fuzzy numbers. rv:
