Summary: This paper concerns a relationship between fuzzy sets and algebraic hyperstructures. It is a continuation of ideas presented by {\it B. Davvaz} [Fuzzy Sets Syst. 101, No. 1, 191-195 (1999; Zbl 0935.20065)] and {\it S. K. Bhakat} and {\it P. Das} [Fuzzy Sets Syst. 80, No. 3, 359-368 (1996; Zbl 0870.20055)]. In fact, the object of this paper is to study the notion of sub-hyperquasigroup in the $(\in,\in\!\vee q)$-fuzzy setting.
